Christina’s experience is complemented by her front-end advice for clients regarding privacy, as well as preparing agreements, terms and conditions and other corporate documents.
She has appeared and instructed in the Court of Appeal, Supreme Courts of Victoria and New South Wales, County Court, Fair Work Commission, Magistrates Court as well as VCAT, and works with Counsel on a regular basis. Christina utilises her litigation experience to advise clients on how to avoid litigation at an early stage, as well in relation to the preparation of agreements, policies and other documents.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Christina’s accomplishments include:
- Acting in a multi-party litigated matter in the Supreme Court on behalf of commercial purchasers, where the vendor sought to rely on the sunset clause for financial gain
- Acting on behalf of a large corporation in a misleading and deceptive conduct matter, arising from a breach of contract, with a counterclaim in excess of $40 million
- Acting in a defamation proceeding against one of the “big 3” media networks and other media subsidiaries
- Acting on behalf of clients in contract disputes, including a litigated matter in the County Court, where a contract of sale of business had been substantially amended verbally
- Acting on behalf of corporate clients in their disputes relating to property in the Supreme Court, including but not limited to seeking and opposing injunctions, removal and maintenance of caveats, opposing mortgagee in possession sales and specific performance of contracts
- Acting on behalf of corporate clients in penalty interest matters, including a litigated matter where a lender sought to impose and exorbitant interest rate, applicable at the trigger of default
- Acting in a multi-party litigated matter in the Supreme Court and on appeal in the Court of Appeal, arising from a multi-million-dollar family trust dispute
- Acting on behalf of a developer in the Supreme Court and on appeal in the Court of Appeal, arising from the repudiation of a development contract.
