Hannah is a member of our Pro Bono Team. In this role, she supports clients with employment law and discrimination matters. 

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Hannah was previously Tipstaff to the Hon. Justice Stevenson in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, when his Honour was the Adoptions List Judge and the Commercial and Technology and Construction Lists Judge. In this role, she acquired invaluable experience in legal research and civil procedure and gained firsthand insight into how the law affects vulnerable individuals, families, and communities.

Hannah also has paralegal experience in both private practice and the legal assistance sector, where she supported lawyers providing advice on employment, construction, housing, victims of crime, planning, environmental, and commercial matters.

Hannah is committed to providing trauma-informed, compassionate legal support that empowers clients. She is known for her strong empathy and effective analytical skills, which together enable her to navigate legal matters with rigour and care.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Examples of matters Hannah has advised and assisted in include:

  • Assisting in proceedings in the Supreme Court of NSW, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Fair Work Commission, and the Australian Human Rights Commission
  • Enabling people in prison to receive free and prompt legal advice and assistance for civil law issues, including social housing disputes and discrimination complaints
  • Facilitating conferences held by the Supreme Court of New South Wales in conjunction with the Department of Communities & Justice and the Crown Solicitor’s Office:
    • “Belonging and Connection: Family, Kin, Community and Country in outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children”, 22 June 2024
    • “Partnerships and Principles in Adoption Practice – the permanency pathway from Out of Home Care to adoption”, 28 October 2024
    • “Voice of the Child: How to ensure a child’s voice is front and centre in casework and legal proceedings”, 5 April 2025
