Lachlan has more than ten years’ experience in insurance litigation acting for national insurers, mutuals and underwriting agencies handling motor vehicle and property damage subrogated recovery and defence claims.

Lachlan specialises in home insurance and property damage claims. He has extensive knowledge practicing in the Magistrates’ Court and County Court in Victoria and possesses experience in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Supreme Court of Victoria.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Lachlan’s recent experience include matters such as:

• Representing clients on matters relating to faulty workmanship including facilitating the resolution of a matter at a settlement conference which resulted in a successful subrogated recovery
• Successfully defending a claim commenced in the County Court seeking liquidated and unliquidated damages relating to an alleged breach of the Australian Consumer Law and the contract.
