Jim is a skilled and experienced lawyer specialising in helping his public and private sector clients navigate their planning, property and environmental legal issues, and resolving disputes when they arise.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Jim offers a breadth of expertise in property, planning and environmental law.

He advises and represents NSW local councils, state government authorities (including local development corporations) and community groups on property, heritage, development, and planning and environmental matters.

He also offers a highly-specialised knowledge of strata and community title development.

Prior to joining Moray & Agnew as a partner in 2015, Jim practised in the commercial, planning and property departments in leading Sydney and London law firms.

Jim is admitted to practice in NSW and the High Court of Australia. 

Jim is known for working closely with his clients to navigate contentious and non-contentious legal matters relating to the development, ownership and use of land.
