This Bill, which will become the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022 (Cth) (Amending Act) and received Royal Assent on 6 December 2022, represents the most substantial piece of legislative workplace and industrial relations reform since the introduction of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act) itself.
