Christian acts for a number of Australian and international insurers providing indemnity advice, defending claims and pursuing recoveries. He also acts on direct instructions for builders ranging from small to large nation-wide commercial operations in property damage claims.
He has advanced knowledge of the law relating to domestic and commercial building and construction, as property damage and personal injury claims, and associated legal issues including in relation to the Building Act 1993, Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995, Plumbers Warranty insurance and the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004.
He is similarly well versed in the Insurance Contracts Act 1984, the Water Act 1989, the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 and the Australian Consumer Law 2010.
