Christine has a background in plaintiff and defendant litigation in all Australian jurisdictions. She is well-versed in public liability, workers compensation and negligent misstatement claims, working with private and government clients to achieve efficient results based on principled and commercial resolutions.
Christine has acted in numerous matters before the ACT Civil and Administration Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the ACT Magistrates and Supreme Courts, the NSW Supreme Court and the Victorian County Court, and has a keen interest in court procedure.
In addition to her main practice areas, Christine has experience in medical negligence, property damage, nervous shock, institutional abuse, motor vehicle and uninsured recovery claims, as well as assisting individuals in human rights complaint responses. She has also advised in respect of claims against homeowners and owners corporations, with complex multi-defendant and quantum issues.
Christine has also provided industrial advice and representations in the negotiation of enterprise agreements for ACT health professionals and assisted in the ACT Health Workplace Culture inquiry.
