Rohan has practised in a wide variety of fields including Compulsory Third Party (CTP), commercial litigation, property and professional disciplinary matters. His professional development from these experiences enables him to provide comprehensive and commercially minded advice to his clients.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Prior to joining Moray & Agnew in 2019, Rohan practiced for 5 years in boutique plaintiff law firms in both Sydney and Canberra.

Rohan regularly provides advice to insurers in both ACT and NSW, with a particular focus on claims brought under the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017 (NSW) and the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2019 (ACT). He regularly presents to ACT insurers on developments in the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2019 (ACT).

Rohan has acted in matters in the ACT Supreme Court, ACT Magistrates Court, NSW District Court, NSW Supreme Court, ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Federal Court of Australia.

Rohan is well versed in ACT court procedure, having recently assisted in the drafting of the LexisNexis Civil Litigation Guide for the ACT Courts.

Rohan is a strategic litigator who provides comprehensive and commercially minded advice to his clients. He is a tenacious but respectful negotiator and a skilled advocate.

Rohan’s experience includes:

  • Acting for a compulsory third party in a successful interlocutory application regarding the use of surveillance in a matter
  • Acting for plaintiffs in pursuing a building and construction claim against a certifier where the builder was insolvent
  • Representing a franchisor in a high profile master-franchising dispute
  • Representing a lessor in a highly complex leasing dispute
  • Dispute resolution.
